Build is a music festival. Build hopes creative ex-hippies-turned-activists will come to Baltimore to volunteer and say no to Locust Point luxury condos.
A typographic mark was made for the festival. Set over Rockwell, it borrowed formally from vintage signs and apparel, and from the color of classic cars.
Components of Build's logomark are separated, distressed and scattered to make compositions for Build's collateral. In this sense, Build was built with Build. Among the collateral, two posters were made, utilizing logo abstraction and introducing more custom display type.
