SOTA protoType Posters
The challenge of this project was to experiment with how typography could be used to create an evocative poster design. The event advertised in these posters, the SOTA protoType Call for Entries, was used as as a foundation for the design. Information from the 2016 competition was pulled to create 18"x24" posters. After multiple draft rounds, 2 final posters were selected.
The first round - limited to black & white, 1 color, and then 2 colors.
The following posters experimented with a bold colors and 3-dimensional space.
The final posters selected focused on soft gradients & floating letters.
