Social.Net.Works

Today we live into a connected world, where everything belongs to an instant. What you write disappear into a social flux who digest and vomit everything into a black hole data. The concept behind "Social.Net.Works" is to bring what is digital into a physical form, printing out some of my social network post and placing them on a wall like a huge printed physical wall. Once I did that, I painted live during the exhibition on them giving to the printed paper a unique artistic value, because each of them was part of a big painting. Another good thing was that once the painting was done live, you needed to experience the exhibition and the performance right here right now, in that exact moment; this brings to all the concept a dimension that doesn't belong to an eternal digital dimension as a digital file is, but gives you the sense of being here and feel the truth. Music was a serious part of the experience, because I wanted to be extremely physical and involve not only the mind and the eye of the spectator but all the senses.
At the end of the exhibition the people were able to reserve an A4 printed and painted part of the painting. This brings back to the performance a final social dimension that instead of a Facebook post has a real dimension into the world and gives to the words "I LIKE" a framed concept that belongs to a true unique piece of art. Global get back to be social but private, connected with the owner dimension, out of the digital shared point of start.
I truly believe that people should get back sharing thoughts together into a real and physical reality, because of the eyes of the body feelings, because of facing the truth behind a human meeting instead of a keyboard typing. We are loosing something that belongs to humanity, to relationship and to what I call Love.
