The creative task that I'm about to present here was set on creating a visual manifesto.
The outcome was to be a fully designed and produced physical book object.
My starting point was writing a brief statement which contained the core ideas, beliefs, terms, concerns and subjective views to be developed and explored on the final Manifesto. This served as an introduction appealing to anyone onto following my points of view and hopefully help them discover their own position on what is said.
In total, 10 dot-work large-format illustrations were drawn. Each one of them carries a statement.
The ‘Flow Book’ takes you on a spiritual journey of self-discovery, realization and appreciation.
It can also be seen as an inspirational and motivational aid to anyone willing to open it.
The concept rises from my ongoing knowledge, research and practice on Spirituality.
At the moment there is only one book available.
This project is open to go into production, on a larger scale.
I incentivate anyone to immerse on this quick experience.
Special thanks to Diane Bresson (UAL) for helping me with the Japanese book-binding technique!
Thank you for your time!
