Ghost - WOOD project

Ghostexplores on the value of memories as time goes by.

Beforethe National Stadium was to be torn down, citizens felt inclined to documentdown its final days through photographs.
Theidea of documentation notes people’s need to have something physical to remindthem of a memory. It provides them assurance and gives them the idea that aslong as the item is around, the memory stays too.

Italso shows the transient nature of memories and how people try to grasp as manyas they can in fear of them fading away.

Thefunny thing about memories is that it doesn’t stay the same when remembered. How we remember something and the emotions associated with it changes as wemove along with life, grow and gain new experiences.

Ghost presents a2-piece silicone mold where a part of the National Stadium bench can bereplicated through casting. Users are reminded of the bench through its form. However, no matter how many times this piece is being casted from this mold, itcan never produce that original part of the National Stadium bench.

Ghost aims to not only remind but yet reflect the illusiveness of memories.
