Over my 2017 summer internship at Cool Nerds Marketing, I was tasked to create moving icons for their website, specifically with the goal of explaining marketing concepts through images as well as to create an incentive for viewers of the website to read the text. Aspects of the icons were created in Illustrator, then animated in After Effects. At the end of the project, I had made, with the mentorship of the head designer, a total of 19 icons.
When planning the icons, I had to take into account unification as well as size. They had to be cohesive with the pre-existing design of the website as well as small enough in file size so the website doesn't lag, rendering it impractical.
