This is part of a series of dance movement interpreted with bold & fluid brush strokes. Some of the designs are taken straight from the pencil & graphite sketches I did on location in night clubs in Singapore back when I was staying there in 1999. This was an action caricature exercise/ project I worked with for a few years. The works were done on location, inside the clubs, surrounded by jostling crowds and working in dim light. The people were not really posing, just being themselves. This is the snapshot I tried to capture with pencils & graphite. With this in mind I finally get around to reworking the wonderful sketches and expanding the idea.
