1. The Strand Hotel
The Strand (also known as Strand Hotel) is a Victorian-style hotel located in Yangon, Myanmar (Burma), built by Aviet and Tigran Sarkie, two of the Sarkies Brothers. The hotel, which opened in 1901, which faces the Hlaing — or Yangon — River to its south, is one of the most famous hotels in Yangon and Southeast Asia, and is managed by GCP Hospitality.
The hotel is named after its address, at 92 Strand Road.

2. Printing & Publishing Press
The over-a-century old building, which is located at the corner of Thein Byu road and Anawrahta road in Botahtaung township,
is one of the listed heritage buildings of Yangon standing in good condition.With the façade design drawn by a well-known Scottish Architect John Begg, construction of the site started in 1909 and completed in 1912 with additional amenities
such as electrical lifts, stabling and servants’ quarters.

3. The General Post Office
The General Post Office is one of the listed heritage buildings located at the corner of Bo Aung Kyaw Street and the Strand road. It is also one of the finest examples of architectural heritage and an attraction for international visitors by
its rows of Lancet-arched windows, the beaux-arts portico and double-winged stairways in the foyer.
The postal service in Yangon started as a small-scale enterprise in 1854.

4. Armenian Church
Yangon's oldest church, built in 1862 and consecrated in 1863, served Yangon's Armenian trading community, who have been in Myanmar since the 17th century. It's a modest, sparsely decorated yet handsome building.

5. Saint Mary's Cathedral
Saint Mary's Cathedral or Immaculate Conception Cathedral is a Catholic cathedral located on Bo Aung Kyaw Street in Botahtaung Township, Yangon, Myanmar. The cathedral's exterior, of red brick, consists of spires and a bell tower.
The cathedral is the largest in Myanmar.

6. Salvation Army Church
The work of the Salvation Army commenced in Burma in 1915 under the administration of India. Thirteen years later it became a separate command. Despite restrictions on the entry of officers and lay workers from overseas, Myanmar Salvationists have continued to develop their witness and service in the nation, particularly in Upper Myanmar. In 1994, the Myanmar Region became part of the Singapore, Malaysia and Myanmar Territory. The Region comes under the direction of a Regional Officer. There is a School for Officer Training in Yangon which has facilities for training up to 14 future officers of the Salvation Army.

7. The Secretariat
The Secretariat (also known as The Ministers' Building) was the home and administrative seat of British Burma, in downtown Yangon, Burma and is the spot where Aung San and six cabinet ministers were assassinated. The building is situated on 6.5 hectares and takes up an entire city block with Anawrahta Road to the north, Theinbyu Road to the east, Maha Bandoola Road to the south and Bo Aung Kyaw Street to the west. It is about one kilometer South East of Yangon Central Railway Station and 600 meters East of the Sule Pagoda.
