This was a prototype designed for a restaurant that started in South Africa. A new store is opening in Italy, I was asked to design a light for the store. The client was very interested in seeing the way of thinking and the production process. This is a shortened version of the presentation. The idea was to give a reason for people to spend more time inside the restaurant. In a city like Milan, it was easy enough to satisfy the needs of the clients and of the potential clients by bringing something exotic to create an inter-cultural experience.

The proces works alongside with the womens' liberation in South Africa. In the future, the product will be interpreted and hand made by South African women. An opportunity to create industry, use skills and benefit well-being.
