"A foodie is a person who has an ardent or refined interest in food and alcoholic beverages. A foodie seeks new food experiences as a hobby rather than simply eating out of convenience or hunger. The terms "gastronome", "gourmand" and "epicure" define the same thing, i.e. a person who enjoys food for pleasure".
This project's objective was to create a brand from 0. We were required to develop a Catering Food service for people with very high expectations with food.
Automatically the word 'Foodie' came to our mind, but we were looking for a fresh and friendly image; so we replaced the 'oo' for 'Ü' for it to be associated with a smiley face.
Since the beginning we planned to be a fresh kind of catering service, so the idea of the lemon was to show the diversity from salads to dessert with one single element.
also we thought it was a good idea to interchange the lemon element for some other kind of foods 'U' shaped for different occasions.
