Challenge: Design a book that visually represents the ideas expressed in the collection of essays.
I received a collection of essays that focused on how design and type have evolved as we have moved into the digital realm. I found it important to show recognition of how far type has come over time so I chose to design the book in the spirit of letterpress. The anthology features letterpress styled pullquotes, colored paper textures, letterpress ornaments, and more.
