when I was a child, my dad said that "saudade" means "the presence of the absense".
I always thought that was a bad feeling... 
But how beautiful it is to have the opportunity to know something or someone that makes me feel so good and that, someday, I will miss.
In some religions of african origin, such as Candomble and Santeria, the dead people are very respected. They accompanies us, intervening in various aspects of our lives. They can be our ancestors or other ones, assigned to protect us.
In New Orleans, I connected more with my ghosts.
I think is a propitious city for that.

Or, maybe is because of the "saudade"
On november 29th, they all went out to the streets and a fog covered the city
