I wanted to somehow blend him in with the notes while also making him stand out. I paid close attention to the rendering of the eyes and how they are positioned on the page to make it seem as thought they are looking from beyond.

Pointillism is truly time consuming, tiring and frustrating at the same time. But as the image slowly emerges, the dots slowly building the bigger picture, the feeling is immensely satisfying. The ups and downs of the creative process is truly fascinating.
