Gugliatto's is a family owned Italian restaurant that was started in 1949. As soon as you walk through the doors at Gugliatto's you feel the classic Italian heritage through the decor and ambiance. The rich wines and delicious pastas will have you coming back for more.
Gugliatto's offers a variety of Italian classic dishes and another menu completely dedicated to our fine house wines.
I stuck with the theme of classic Italian by keeping the old paper look to each of the menus, gift cards and table tent as well. I used a logo I had created for the coasters to tie everything together. The table tent also has a classic feel because of the added leaning tower of pisa on the side. The gift card has a added detail of a brick wall to give it that rustic old feel.
I started with sketching out multiple ideas of different logos and menus. I ended up incorporating different elements from other sketches to get my final logo. For the menu, I decided to go with a different idea than my sketches and had to images on the background instead of on the actual menu.
This was a mock up of a menu I had an idea for. I used the same concept of the sketched petals in the background and tweaked it a bit in InDesign. In this photo you can see I used the "classic italian" from sketch #6 in my final logo.
