Created by Mitchel Brien and myself over an 8 week period. Orpheus was designed to be a prototype game for us to further develop in our post-university lives. With a firm focus of quality over quantity we worked on creating a atmospheric piece with original game play.

Orpheus' story line is based on the ancient Greek mythology by the same name. It follows a heroic bard in his quest through the underworld in an attempt to bring back his deceased lover.

The user interacts through the character of Orpheus and must use clues given by his surrounding environment in order to play certain tunes. Working out a correct tune grants the player access to the next level.

While the game is currently only a prototype, we plan on continuing our work with it in the next few years, possibly bringing it to market as a tablet game for iPad and Android.
