One flight a week from Budapest, a couple more from the UK and Germany... It was so refreshing after those months in Plymouth to finally get lost wandering in Lanzarote. In December, most of the shores are abandoned, beaches are only visited by a few campers and committed surfers. We drive through villages of 30-40 houses with usually just a grocery store and maybe a café open. White houses with green windows; an ever beautiful and the simplest possible pair of colors you could add to these landscapes.  The weather is easy, a mild 20-22 Celsius during the day. We could make the last three-four nights sleeping in the car when we run out of money, but in the end Sandra and Guillermo only ask to clean the Caravan after ourselves for the visitors to come soon.
