When I first saw these two coins I was thinking that it was British coins, because the first thing came into my eyes was the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. However, when I turned the coin back, I found two animals on both coins which are symbols of Canada (Beaver on 5 cents and caribou
on 25 cents).
I want to create an animation which can show people how to remember the Canadian coins and by using the interesting animation way and showing the story behind the coins. Especially for kids and people from other countries.
After the investigation, I found that I spent a long time to distinguish the denomination of Canadian coins. The same experience I have is the first year when I arrived the UK, it took me the half year to not make any mistakes again while using the British coins.
