ENGINEERING CONSULTING OFFICE FOR UTILITIES
Team Members: Muftah Abudajaja, Osama Abdul Hadi, Hadia Gana, Idris Sallak, Eman El sharef, MET Studio, YI-CHING LIU, Mersel Bujak, Eldin HerendaThe project is described by MET Studio as the 'most challenging project in company's 28-year history'. Architect Yi Ching designed the new building envelope and MET Studio was tasked with creating the new interior and exibition. Coordination of the project and on site works was in hands of the governmental agency, the Engineering Consulting Office for Utilities (Ecou) team. The Libyan Pavilion was equipped with high technological audio-visual equipment, which gave an opportunity to talk about Libya’s past and culture, and also showcase some of the highly environmentally-conscious building programmes of the current day, in a very effective way
