Logo 1
The election ink is the most recognizable symbol of elections in India. With its origins in the electoral system of India, is taken as the primary inspiration for the formation of logo, with the blot of ink on one’s nail visible in the center. As Electoral Literacy Clubs aim to educate, the form of a tree symbolic of the ancient Indian education system of Gurukuls is visible. With the ink forming as the base i.e. the trunk and people as its leaves, who are increasing in number as the tree grows.

The overall logo symbolizes people moving towards the system of election (represented by the election ink) in India and becoming a part of it through the ELCs, as they enter the halo.
Logo 2
The logo, has been kept very simple with emphasis on the letter L and E, signifying literacy and election, the keywords behind the concept of ELCs. Combination of the two letters forms a fist with two heads visible on top. The fist is symbolic of the act of binding people together and bringing them under the electoral system in India through proper education, facilitated by the ELCs.

The colours used are shades of the additive primary colours Red, Green and Blue, which is indicative of the young target age group of the program 14-18 years. Also a setup has been created with the provision to allow schools/communities to add their logo besides the main logo.
