Typographic Tone 

A digital dictionary studying tone, typography, and Semiotics.

This website is a result of a study based on semiotics and how designers use visuals to convey tone. What can be explained with words can also be expressed through imagery and typography—this site identifies the relationship between images and their meanings. A simple grid of thumbnail images is used to give a peek into specific tones. When hovering over an image, its associated terminology and definition is appear to the right of the image grid.
