During my first year of university, I was assigned a group project called 'Visual Literacy'. In groups, we had to create a series of posters on a chosen subject - we decided to look into technology addiction.
My poster was based on Facebook as many people are addicted to using social media. I used the colour scheme of Facebook as this would be easily recognised, so I did not have to physically write the word Facebook for the viewer to know what my poster was based on. Blue is also often used for social media and websites as it is a calm colour and has a professional approach to it.
