Children's Book Shelf Concept

Objective:
Design a product for the home that helps to improve the everyday life of the user
Initial Concepts:
Begin thinking about ideas for the kitchen or storage for the bathroom or bedroom.
Begin working on a the bookshelf concept, sketching out what it will look like, how its made and the size of the parts
Final Solution:
A Child's bookcase that give the representation of a head eating the stack of books in its mouth.
The Child is able to interact with the bookshelf by swapping out pieces to make whatever face they desire! Pieces are stored in the head of the bookshelf
Allows the shelf to move with the user as they grow up. The form allows for multiple applications, including a kitchen appliance storage device, a movie/game storage device or even a side table.
