This story captures how my second born son came into the world. It’s told as if I’m telling him the story through a time capsule after that he would be reading when he’s an older child/young adult. I’ve structured the events in this story around the passage of time during the course of my labour. Themes include human vs. self, adapting to change, and coming-of-age.

The project scope included character designs summarized in a model sheet, an original script, thumbnails, pencil roughs, and finished sheets rendered with india ink and watercolour.
