Printed research documentation of my degree project “Quiproquo”

This essay has been produced after a four months’ research about the relationship between picture books and non-linear narrations.

My aim was to explore the way the picture book could be turned into a medium able to convey non-linear, combinatory or interactive narrations, taking account of its physical limits and potentialities (pages’ order and format, binding technique, relation between images and text, etcetera).

The book is divided into four main sections: theoretical research, visual references, description of the project’s development and sketches.
