WEAVING NATURE
This piece was created for volume 9 of T-Pot magazine, an issue focusing on the preservation of traditional ethnic culture through the uniqueness of minority clothing and their patterns. My work featured three of the most famous ethnic minorities, the Red Dao, H'mong, and Lo Lo groups for their distinct identities as wonderful mothers, hardworking farmers and beautiful people. The women slowly morph into their environment as a symbol of their ties to the earth and the dedication, patience and love they show in their work.
