RIOT interstate App UX Design-
Goal: to design a minimalist mobile app for a fashion brand which doesn't compromise aesthetics for function and vice versa.
In designing the UX I took into consideration how painful it is to take multiple (unnecessary) steps to order a product online. So a major concern was giving users the ability to perform the maximum number of operations possible per screen, while having a seamless experience from application launch to checkout.

Wireframes-
Below are the wireframes which define the basic layout and architecture of the app. The wireframing stage helped to outline visual and typographic hierarchy of user interface as well as set the interactive zones and elements and plan transitions and interactions.
UI Design-
Going off the brand identity which consisted of two colours ( black and white): To ensure familiarity and consistency across the whole app, I decided to design UI elements with black, white or shades of grey.

Ease of ordering products without going back and forth between pages was one of the main goals- This could lead to higher conversion and lower abandonment rates. We designed the UI in a way which lets users view different photos of a desired product, add a product to their favorite tab for later viewing/ purchase, select the desired size and add product to cart all from the main collections page.
On viewing a product users can still swipe through to see other products without having to return to the previous page. Expandable product options affords more screen real estate to product photos and reduces the amount of scrolling needed to access product information.
