В октябре 2017-го мы с мамой ездили отдыхать в Абхазию. Абхазия - страна с удивительно красивой природой. Но в ней царит разруха. Первое, что мы увидели после невероятных горных пейзажей, граничащих с кошмарных размеров помойкой, это огромное количество животных. По большей части бездомных.
Удивительные люди: они сами не делают ничего, чтобы улучшить свою жизнь, и не дают приезжим, желающим помочь, ничего сделать.

The first thing we saw after the incredible mountain scenery, bordering on the nightmarish size of the garbage dump, is a huge number of animals. For the most part homeless.

Случаются стычки. Самые настоящие "уличные" разборки: битвы за территорию или внимание девочки. На наших глазах произошла "сделка". Коричневый пёс на фото отдал "главарю" свою самку и пошел нас провожать до отеля!!! И сопровождал нас каждый день до пляжа! Дружба и преданность - неотъемлимые черты собак.

Лошади - отдельная тема. Потрясающе красивые и поразительно умные животные. Но в Абхазии, к сожалению, грустные и худые.
Развиты Верховые прогулки на лошадях по тропинкам в горы. Стоит немало, и куда уходят деньги - неясно, потому что конюшни не похожи на конюшни: две палки и две доски. Вместо седла - старые одеяла. Зато у проводника Iphone...Ну вот и выяснили, где деньги.

Примечательно и удивительно, что, в основном, в Абхазии водятся охотничьи собаки!!! Породистые охотничьи собаки без хозяев! Как это возможно в других странах, где гонка за породой важнее дружбы с верным псом?! Но там настолько пассивные люди, что, видимо, уже не играет роль: породистая собака или дворняга - либо у нее есть хозяин, либо нет.
