Instead of placing a heavy emphasis on the color schemes of NFL teams, I decided to re-establish the brand of Boise State athletics—bright, bold royal blue. This carried from the players to background colors to type, while still finding ways to celebrate the athletes' new teams.
Real-time graphics to promote the player and pick number, as well as highlighting the team's logo and stadium. The outlined blue type was heavily featured throughout the 2018 Draft graphics package to differentiate from previous content.
The Instagram story content employed a slightly more simplistic strategy, ultimately driving people to the actual postBoise State fans know who the player is, so the lack of player name was not much of a concern. "Drafted" replaces the NFL Draft logo, and the account header replaces the Bronco head logo. The prominent information was the player himself and where he was selected.
A quick, looping video posted the first day of the draft to provide a slight change of pace from the graphic-heavy content utilized throughout the week.
