The goal of this project was to create an infographic on a social issue. I chose to bring awareness to mental illness through this project. I wanted to bring a personal, handmade touch to the infographic and make it unique. All of the images and type were drawn by hand and then brought onto the computer to be edited digitally. I wanted the title to be provocative and draw people in to read further. The phrase was inspired by a book of the same title "No One Cares About Crazy People: The Chaos and Heartbreak of Mental Health in America" by Ron Powers. The illustration was inspired by an illustration I saw in a magazine that I thought fit perfectly with my theme for this project.
