Drawing My Transition, 2018
Starting with brainstorming and rough thumbnail sketches, I created a simple design that represents my transition from my life before MICA to the present. Using different pasta shapes as a pattern, I created a vector version of my design through Adobe Illustrator. By transforming these patterns into paper cutouts done with the Silhouette Cameo Cutting Machine, I explored different textures and colors. I used the cutouts as frames and applied them to different backgrounds, both in real life and through the digital screen. I also used Adobe Photoshop to create more variations of each pattern and its colors.
