This lovely garden in Forest Hill had been neglected for many years. The clients, a family with young children wished to utilise the space to the side of the property, introduce new raised beds and incorporate a fruit tree.

The garden was dominated by two large horse chestnut trees so the areas under these were kept low maintenance and free to run around in and will also be a space to house a play house for the children at a future date. We placed a screen in the area to the side of the house to lighten the space and create an area for toy storage behind. Khandler grey sawn sandstone paving was used in the paved area. A pleached apple tree creates dappled shade over the dining table and planting includes Hydrangea paniculata 'Limelight' , astrantias,  cornus siberica, Agapanthus africanus and Pittosporum tobira 'nanum'.
