Labor and Pride
I was commissioned by Argot Magazine to create a piece inspired by labor and pride since May was coming and soon it would be International Labor Day.
I decided to link the theme of labor with my mother and her work. She is now retired, but or most of her life she worked in an office. Although I only went to visit her once or twice, the first illustration includes objects of what I imagine it looked like in the past.
Now we live in different countries and I make part of my living as a graphic designer. Her job and mine are different yet I wanted to find the similitudes between the two. Particularly how thanks to my parents' labor I'm able to do what I do know.
