From Yangcu project, this Yangcu café pop-up store came to life.

Starting from the values & charateristic from Montagnard-Degar, a gathering of tribes in Vietnam Highlands, and after all the research and the branding we tailored for our synthesis project, it came the time to move on the next project.

This container pop-up store was designed following the soft-power mechanics we used for getting the Degar countercoulture into the mainstream west.

The main question was: How can we get people to know and love this culture without telling them to?

The answer was only one.
Make.
It.
Hipster.

YANGCU café is divided in 2 different sections:

    ▹ Smoothie bar
    ▹ T-Shirt shop

The smoothie bar gets traditional fruits and mix them with local ingredients, creating a mixture of exotic-modern drinks.
The user can choose between pre-made drinks, ready for every opportunity, or can wait and choose his own fruits and wait for the bartender to mix it up just for him
In the T-Shirt shop, the user can get random-patterned t-shirt or he can order his own personal one from his PC or smartphone and, after 2/3 days, he can come into the shop and collect it.

Since the pattern is random, it would be nearly impossible to have the same shirt as someone else!
The container was built with Rhinoceros 5, and the scene was arranged with Unreal Engine. That way, it was easier to move around the scene to get different screenshots in different daylights.
