Warrillow Studio want to shape a world where ethical practices are the accepted standard in fashion and their award-winning designs use only vegan materials. Bespoke hats, fascinators, and headpieces take inspiration from the natural world and can be worn at events, weddings and social soirees.

Founded by Rachel Warrillow, a proud vegan and environmentalist  — she believes if it’s good for the world and good for the soul. Every hat deserves a handcrafted and tailored approach to make sure it’s absolute right so I partnered with brand strategist Naeem Alvi to help reflect their approach and values across the brand identity.

With every headpiece lovingly hand-sewn, the logo was inspired by thread and loops gracefully to form each letterform on a single line. The palette is inspired by Sinamay — an organic fabric used in millinery which is coloured with eco-friendly vegetable dyes.

Sinamay is woven from abacá fibres — a tree related to the banana palm, native to the Philippines. We created a Warrillow leaf based upon this plant, an illustrative mark which works as a standalone device and as a pattern across the brand.

Rachel believes the right hat can make anyone feel amazing and we wanted the Warrillow photography to capture this true sense of joy. Under the theme of a summer garden party, we teamed up with photographer, Roo Lewis, to create a bank of unique imagery for the brand.
