Stereotyping groups or individuals is something many of us have and still are, guilty of doing. Prejudice has always been a social boundary that has been hard to break especially within differences between class, race and appearance. Does someone’s judgment of someone else effect the decisions and behaviour that we make within ourselves? In the society of our current day with freedom expression just as much a right of freedom or speech, why and where are we still facing these boundaries?
I have tried to re-create common stereotypes that are recognisable by many of us. All are mirrored with an opposing stereotype, or a more ‘normal’ look. Each common stereotype has two similarities between them. The first is that both the stereotype and the mirrored image are both modelled by the same person. The second is that underneath all the clothes no matter what style, there is a human being, we are all the same. We live in an age were styles and looks are more fluid then ever. Respect them for their chose of clothing, and respect them for who they are. Dress does not define, a person. We as people all come from different backgrounds and walks of life. Don’t judge, don’t look down on others for their image,
we are all the same.
