The Raven is an underground magazine about fascinating topics around the globe. The magazine is designed with handmade textures to represent unique, raw, and extreme vibe of underground culture. Each issue covers three genres: culture, media, and music. Each genre will have one 8-10 page editorial spreads.
This print-magazine project was to show my appreciation, adoration, and remembrance of declining print-design industry. Rather than solely depending on high-quality images and computer generated graphics, I explored various handmade exquisite techniques that people nowadays start to forget, like print magazine. And most importantly, it was to remind you that handmade art is as marvelous as computer generated art.
