The Lost Flamingo is an illustrated storybook about a young girl who meets a lost flamingo named Pingo. I wrote the story and decided to weave the theme of bravery throughout. I hope that children are able to identify with the story and for it to help them believe that they can be brave once they believe in themselves and by stepping out of their comfort zones by saying yes to adventures.
The book is made up of 50 pages. The colour scheme for the book is soft yet bright. All the images were illustrated using the iPad Pro and the Apple Pencil I hope for the story to be interactive for children to read with their parents, by having other animals hidden throughout for children to find.
