Another Rainy Day - surface pattern and product design

This was one of the very first designs I ever created. I was living in Dublin at the time and after yet another unsuccessfully sunny summer, and on a yet "another rainy day" this design was born.

Ironically in 2017/2018, while living in Cape Town, South Africa, this design has had a "comeback" with the impending drought crisis we have been having over the past year.

The design was also selected and featured (along with 2 of our other designs) as part of Picture Africa, a curated photographic and textile exhibition which formed part of 100% Design in Cape Town and Joburg in 2016.
