Score for Room
Score for Room is an experimental music notation installation. The paper floor, patterned to look like sheet music, accumulates the wears and tears of everyday rhythms over a ten week period. Additionally, the floor is amplified using contact mics to further enhance the sounds of the viewers' footsteps in space.
White and black construction paper, contact mics, wire, amplifier, the accumulation of dust, dirt and movements over a 10 week period while installed in a gallery space; 12’ x 24’ ft.
