The Absence Of This Player Was Felt In The Finals
It’s been said by almost all sports writers and basketball analysts that for the Cavs to have a chance against the mighty Warriors, everyone would need to contribute and help Lebron James.  While some players on the Cavs roster have more or less contributed on a consistent basis, a few key players are on and off.

Now that the NBA Finals are over, and the Cavs have been swept, it was painfully obvious just how lacking in support James was.  One player, in particular, came up short and was hardly a factor – Kyle Korver.

Averaging around 9 points all season, Korver came up with a total of 6 points in four games, with 1 out of 16 shooting from the field.  Don’t bother coming up with the averages.  They’re low, too low for someone who once ruled the league in three-pointers, too low for someone playing in the NBA Finals, and too low for someone of his caliber.

Korver was as inefficient as could be, also flopping on the defensive end.  His counterpart, Klay Thompson, did so much better on both offense and defense.

Now Korver fans may think that he wasn’t given enough shots, which is crazy, because he was given 16.  Think of this – for a guy who’s supposed to be a dead-eye shooter, who’s won a championship, to miss more than one open layup, that’s saying something.  And the Cavs faithful deserved much better.
