During the last quarter of the year 2016, the Philippines was scared by an unfamiliar vector-borne disease called Zika virus. The health branch of the government appealed to the public of intensifying their health seeking behavior and continuing their actions in controlling other vector-borne diseases.

This material was used for the Department of Health's information drive during the Zika virus alarm.
