Peptides International Product Category Icons

As we were working through cleaning up our branding and overall image, we wanted to redefine our product icons that categorize them by Disease States. Not only did we need new icons, we needed colors that were distinguishable from each other. We also needed the icons to be able to be assembled is variable ways based on brochure needs.

To solve these needs, icons were created based on the common hex shape used in Peptide chemistry, as well as simplified imagery. The colors used were based on two things-preexisting colors on company icons, and in conjunction with Category & Service icons. Then, the image hexes were placed in a dynamic frame to accomplish an illusion of movement, as well as allow them to be flipped when multiple icons were needed for one product or service. If necessary, the hex image could be removed from the frame for alternative uses.

These icons were meant to be used for printed brochures and flyers, as well as digitally in emails, blog posts, and the website.
Each icon is meant to be a quick identifier for the various products our company sells. These products can be categorized various ways, one being by the biological interaction it has. The icons are also meant to be used in print and web. As such, I went for a clean, monochromatic design for each icon.
