For this project, we were assigned to take a vector graphic that we created in illustrator, and bring it into after effects for a short animation. I chose to use the classic idea of a cow getting abducted by a UFO.

Here are my initial sketches:

I took it into illustrator and created this vector graphic:

Then I imported the project into illustrator and started animating.

The first draft looked like this:

I wanted to add more movement to the cow, so I decided to rotate her as she was being lifted up to the UFO.

The final project ended up like this, and I'm really happy with it, as it's the first time I've ever used after effects.
