DESIGN PHILISOPHY:
- The civilization aspects can be divided to Art, Education and Culture.,
the more Connectivity between them , the more civilization achieved.
........So the project is divided verticaly into three zones., art, education and culture., while it is has another zones horizontaly as learning and working comes first then you can earn your efforts in the form of products ... so the ground and first floors represents the work to get to the product (museum and gallery) which is in the second floor.
.........also connect the three zones in the project in an intermediate area called linkage area to symbolize the connection
between (Art, Education ,& Culture) that make civilization flourish, the linkage area appears in the first and second floors.

- Civilization is Continuous and Infinite.
……. the mass form came from the shape of infinity but having three rings instead of two to represent the three zones of art, education and culture...
...… also the museum circulation is Closed rings, as you can start from any point and get back to it watching one zone two or three zones without passing by any point two times as the civilization exhibits is infinite to explore.
- Civilization have Peaks & Troughs along time.
- The ground floor represents the troughs , as it has the three zones (Art, Education ,& Culture) separated and disturbed , having some more traditional activities , while upper floors represents the peaks , as the connection between the three zones and more developed activities, that makes people seaks the upper floors which represents the peaks of civilization realizing that more civilization comes from more connection between (Art, Education, Culture) and so more efforts to be exerted.
- The aim of the project is to Spread knowledge and awareness.
…… that appears in the lines of the mass the layout and the façade lines as it appears in a dynamic way that represents the spread.
Environmental TREATMENTS PHILISOPHY:
Chalange to face is the desert climate of the site which we can face by using some Passive Design Strategies … which also reduce energy usage.
…… by using courts, ventilation of preferable wind through the courts and shading the courts with collestra which also give beautiful shape oh shading ….. make the open spaces face the courts as it is more difficult to be ventilated mechanically …… each spaces have two windows one on the collider on the court and the other in the outer skin of the building which allow cross ventilation through spaces
Façade treatments.
…… most façade lines are northern or eastern, others it faces the courts...
…… openings are wider in northern and eastern facades while in southern and western facades it is narrower, divided and having collestras., the collestra opening is wider if it is northern and the get narrower towards west.
Also decrease energy usage by Closed loop of resources and using more efficient materials
