Pink Worms
I was asked to respond to the theme 'Pink' for the first edition of Studio Pizza's new editorial project: PINK. PINK will be riso printed in fluro pink in. Here you can find my proposal for the project:
Theme: 'Pink'
Pink doesn’t always represent sweetness, cuteness, tenderness etc.
Pink is also a perfect colour for dark, intense and scary things.
For my submission, I would like to focus on not positive connotations of the colour pink but I would like to explore the negative and a bit repellent things that happen to be pink.
My proposal was an illustration piece what would have little pink skinned people swimming in a pool pf pink fishing worms to create a contrast between connotation of worms and a relaxing nice summer day 🌞 ☀️🌊
