HomeSense wanted a new approach to their annual $1,000 gift card giveaway, aimed at college students.
We came up with a game concept called ‘Your room’s a disaster’. The aim: take a typical student room
and get rid of old college items using various disasters, like explosions and typhoons, and replace it with
nicer HomeSense items. Finishing the game entered you into the draw. As a fun bonus and reason to share,
we asked them to turn on their webcam at the beginning of the game so we could capture their reaction
to the first big explosion.
