MELT
Kakikori is japanese shaved ice. Identity of Kakikori is pouring cream on ice which is has sweet scent and fresh taste, perfect for summer. We used the process of making toy by soft polyurethane foam by pouring foam to made free form shape on furniture. Create interesting form and texture.
As you see “kakikori” has a shape that look like mountain and was served on tray, so we used these concept to create furniture form. The chair is kakikori and the table is tray and the cream that look like
it’s melting which is the identity of “kakikori”.So that’s why these furniture set were called “Melt”.
