My collection theme is about “Finding Maison Margiela”. Maison Margiela is an avant garde fashion brand which founded by a Belgium designer-fashion’s invisible man. He did not want anyone focus anything else except on the clothes themselves.Invisible and anonymity defines the brand. I am curious about Margiela himself and how does he work about fashion. Deconstruction, contemporary, and experimental are the original brand DNA and style that created by Margiela himself. I respect his style and his working way. I inspire by another Belgium artist Michael Borremans whose artwork are characterized by their unsettlingly surreal imagery. I think both of them have the similar sense express their work in art language.
