Cigarette Conversations

Each cigarette is labeled with the time and date in which it was smoked. The folders are also organized by date and they contain records of the conversation that occurred within the duration of each burning cigarette. The records are poetic fragments of what the person was saying. None of the words are my own.

9-26-12          9:28am
looks like the ceiling ends
and sky begins
it would be cool if you walked in
and she was just laying in the glass
no security guard takes his job that seriously
um....9:30
cutting open a deer he had just killed
what does this mean
maybe if I'm lucky
I'll find another deer fetus
I'm lucky

9-24-12          7:04pm

I'm stuck in a weird state of mind
I don't know what I'm gonna do about it
I'm not writing that lady a letter
because I wanted to weld
if I wanted to
but I don't want to start
a conversation about your work
he's boggle minded
just making up words
It's a modular progression project
I'm pretty sure it's probably real
whenever I go to Janine's
I come home really high
I don't know what to do
I mean somebody's got to use it
it's suicidal
they thought it was suicidal

                                                 -->
9-25-12          3:41pm
your eyes are so crazy
that could be expensive
because it's in the city
just work while your here
that would suck
I was just thinking about that
it was in the middle of the road
I gave him my smile
