SYNESTHESIA
The creative concept for my book involved showing differences between how synesthetes
(people with synesthesia) and other people see the world. The intent of my concept was
to show how the text of the book would look in the eyes of a person with synethesia.
Moreover, I decided to interprete synethesia as a code of color and shapes, where letters
are elements of the system.To show the differences, I used a simple sans-serif typeface which
represents how letters are perceived by people without synethesia. Underneath letters I
created various symbols refering to synesthesia.
